In conjunction with the celebration of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, the Ministry of Labor organized the #Occupational_Safety_and_Health_Conference for 2024. This notable event brought together industry leaders, experts, and professionals dedicated to advancing workplace safety and health practices. The conference provided a platform for sharing innovative ideas, best practices, and the latest advancements in safety technologies.

ESBAAR's Talk

Our HSE Manager, Mustafa Al Awad, delivered an insightful talk on how artificial intelligence can minimize damage and reduce overall risk to the country due to climate change.

  • Predicting Weather Patterns: AI can be used to predict weather patterns using historical data, allowing for proactive measures.
  • Identifying Geographical Weaknesses: Mustafa highlighted how AI can identify geographical weaknesses that can be strengthened to protect the nation.
  • Utilizing AI for Infrastructure: AI can assess the impact of climate change on infrastructure, such as water dams and transportation routes, and estimate potential damage and costs.

ESBAAR's Mitigation Efforts

Mustafa also discussed ESBAAR's direct involvement in mitigating climate change disasters:

  • Surveying Roads: ESBAAR uses RPAS and AI to survey roads after recent rains and report data back to authorities.
  • Data Analysis: The data captured by RPAS is analyzed using AI, providing actionable insights for damage assessment and disaster response.
